Commentary
The Buddhist god, Acalanatha, stands in the blazing flame with a dragon on his back while holding a Sankoken (sword with three-pronged handles) and a Kensaku (rope) in his hands. The Acalanatha, who disperses evil, removes worldly desires and protects mankind from suffering. Kinutani has regarded this god like his guardian from his childhood. The Acalanatha taught him the wisdom of life and gave him the strength to remain calm and self-possessed at all times. This work reflects Kinutani’s sincere faith in Buddhism.
